Edith Briseno
May 18, 1969 – June 15, 202
Born on May 18, 1969, in El Limón, Michoacán, Mexico, to Jose A. Bracamontes and Evangelina Bracamontes, Edith entered the world as a bright light whose warmth and kindness would touch countless lives.
Edith lived with unwavering optimism and grace, choosing to hope even through life's greatest challenges. From a young age, she was known for her vibrant spirit, infectious sense of humor, creativity, and compassionate heart. She had a remarkable gift for making people feel seen, valued, and loved. She saw the best in people, spoke kindly of everyone, and had a rare ability to make each person she met feel important. Whether someone was family, a lifelong friend, a coworker, or a complete stranger, Edith welcomed them with genuine warmth and compassion. To those who knew her, Edith was everything that is good in the world—a woman whose kindness, generosity, and selflessness left an unforgettable mark on every life she touched.
Above all else, Edith was a devoted mother. Aubrey and Dylan were the center of her world and, as she often said, her "reason for living." She poured her heart into raising her children and loved them with every part of her being. She was also a loving daughter, devoted sister, cherished aunt, loyal friend, and dedicated employee who took great pride in everything she did. Her family meant everything to her, and there was nothing she wouldn't do for the people she loved.
For more than a decade, Edith courageously battled cancer with extraordinary strength, resilience, and unwavering faith. She faced each challenge with remarkable courage and never allowed her illness to define who she was. Even on her hardest days, she continued to encourage others, offer a smile, and put the needs of those around her before her own. Cancer took her life, but it never took her spirit. Her light continued to shine until her very last breath.
Edith is survived by her beloved children, Aubrey and Dylan; her loving mother, Evangelina Bracamontes; her siblings, Arnold Bracamontes, Delfina Bracamontes, and Blanca Castro; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were made brighter simply by knowing her.
Edith leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, generosity, and unconditional love. Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that love like hers never truly leaves us. It lives on in the countless lives she touched, the kindness she inspired, and in every lesson, she taught simply by the way she lived. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
